Entertainment at the Union Fair

Playing Possum at the 2012 Union Fair.Union Fair’s goal for entertainment is to offer a wide range of family friendly shows which appeal to various ages, tastes, and interests.

That is a tall order but one that, we feel, has been accomplished successfully over the years. Offerings can be found at several venues including an outside arena, small stage, or large professional stage production. They may be intimate exhibitions such as a K-9 unit demonstration or a full scale heart pounding concert by a rising country music star.

Our shows may tickle your funny bone or cause you to gasp in wonder as a performer dances on a high wire. If you are looking for traditional fair entertainment we have it. If you are looking for new, cutting edge we have that also. Where else can you learn about, and enjoy, wines made only in Maine while watching horse racing? We work hard to provide quality entertainment for our customers.

We are proud of what we have created. Come to the fair this year to see what we have in store for you.

Johnny Hoy and the Blue Fish
Johnny Hoy and the Blue Fish at the Union Fair.Formed in 1991, the band has evolved through many incarnations, three Tone Cool and two self-produced CDs, trips around the world as far as South Africa and mostly the joys of playing a lot of music on Martha's Vineyard where most of them live. The band started out as a four-piece with no piano, became a five-piece for several years, and then returned to a four-piece configuration, this time with no bass, and it's been that way for over 10 years.  http://www.johnnyhoyandthebluefish.com/index.html  When
