Are you a high school graduate between the ages
of 17-22, single and a Maine resident? Well we
are looking for someone just like you. Come on,
think about it.
Maybe you aren't old
enough or not ready to apply, but would like to
see what it's like. Come opening day to
meet the candidates who hope to be Blueberry
Queen. Take time to talk with the present queen
and learn what it has been like for her this
past year. Get to know the candidates, ask them
about being a candidate and what they have
experienced as a participant. Perhaps after
meeting the candidates you'll have a favorite
and want to see who is crowned this years queen.
There are many opportunities to see what it is
like to be queen or crown princess during the
week of the fair. Come any day and you will find
them announcing events, handing our prizes,
greeting fair goers, conducting contests for the
children, posing for pictures, cooking pancakes
on blueberry day and much more.
